Aboutthe studio

Built on creativity.Focused on impact.

We design and build websites, custom software, desktop tools and user interfaces for businesses, with published starting prices and a written scope before any work begins.

Our mission

To give businesses websites and software they can depend on: designed with precision, engineered to last, and scoped and priced in the open from the first conversation.

What drives the work

  • 01

    Quality

Every screen, state and size designed and checked.

  • 02

    Creativity

Ideas shaped around your business, never a template.

  • 03

    Dependable engineering

Clean, tested code that stays easy to change.

TrueFrame Studio

Structure first. Everything else follows.

01Philosophy

Our philosophy

Good digital work is built, not decorated. We start with structure, a clear frame for the business and the people it serves, and every detail has to earn its place on top of it.

Five principles

What we believe

The standards every website, tool and interface we make is held to, from the first sketch to the final release.

  1. 01

    Precision

Spacing, type and alignment follow one system, and every state is designed: hover, focus, loading, empty and error. Nothing is left to chance at the edges.

    • One spacing & type system
    • Every state designed
    • Checked at every screen size
  2. 02

    Restraint

Every element has to earn its place. If it doesn't help someone understand, decide or act, it comes out, so what remains reads clearly.

    • One clear action per section
    • No decorative clutter
    • Motion with a purpose
  3. 03

    Performance

Speed is part of the design, not a fix at the end. Pages stay light, media loads when it is needed and interfaces respond the moment they are used.

    • Lightweight pages
    • Optimised images
    • Tested on phones and desktops
  4. 04

    Accessibility

Readable contrast, semantic structure, full keyboard support, visible focus and respect for reduced-motion settings are part of every build from day one.

    • Keyboard operable
    • Readable contrast
    • Reduced-motion aware
  5. 05

    Built to be maintained

Clean, documented code on dependable foundations, and content you can update yourself where that makes sense, so the product stays easy to change after launch.

    • Documented code
    • Editable content
    • Handover included

03Process

Our approach

Four stages, the same on every project. Nothing is designed or built until the scope, timeline and cost are agreed in writing.

  1. Stage 01

    Discover

Understand the business and its goals.

We talk through the business, its customers and what the project needs to achieve. We look at what already exists, from the current site to the tools and content, so the work starts from facts rather than assumptions.

    What you get

    • Agreed project goals
    • A summary of what we learned
    • An initial direction for scope
  2. Stage 02

    Plan

    Define requirements, structure, and strategy.

We decide what gets built, how it is structured and in what order. Scope, timeline and cost are agreed here, before any design or development begins.

    What you get

    • A written scope
    • The site or system structure
    • A proposal with timeline and cost
  3. Stage 03

    Design & Develop

Create the interface and build the technology.

We design the interface first and review it with you before development starts. Then we build, sharing working versions as features come together, so feedback arrives while it is still easy to act on.

    What you get

    • Approved designs
    • A working staging build
    • Integrations and content in place
  4. Stage 04

    Launch & Support

Test, deploy, refine, and support the final product.

We test across devices and browsers, deploy to production and check that everything works in the real world. After launch we refine based on real use and keep the product supported.

    What you get

    • The live product
    • Handover and documentation
    • Ongoing support options
